Droks Armor for Necros
I was just run to Droks, and am having trouble deciding what type of Drok's Armor to get. I am currently a Blood Spiker, but Necros have to switch between all the types of magic sadly . Does anyone have Droks Armor that they bought for their Necro? If so, or if you just know, please tell me what type of armor I should get. Thanks!

I had droks armor for my necro (until I switched to one of the canthan armors). Scars are definately the way to go IMO. You just can't go wrong with extra energy.

Scars for the energy. If you do MM then get the bloodstained boots for the 25% increased cast speed of coprse exploitation related skills.

Im using Fanatics, with Bloodstained boots. Cant even stand to look at tats or scars more than about 10-15 seconds tops, actually makes me queasy.

Well...only other Role Playing character I've used is my Elementalist who has been a Nuker his whole life
But I suppose you are right, most professions do change builds. |

If you go MM, I'd stick with Tormentor's or any other armor with the same stats. Of course buy Bloodstained boots. I chose Tormentor's because the added 10 amor is extremely helpful. MMs use Soul reaping and that's where I believe they should get there energy. Remember, a dead MM can mean a dead team.

energy (scars) and a change of bloodstained boots, it's ugly as hell but it gets the job done
personally, after having played a lot of healer monk, it's pretty damn easy in pve to not get killed as a caster of any kind. Extra armor for a caster shouldn't be necessary with an ounce of skill and common sense. |

and I was relating everything there to being a necro, not a monk. My only point about being a monk is that that's how I learned, as a caster, is to avoid damage |

A large percentage of the MMs in Factions use the Minion Master armor, which has an AL of 75 when you control 5 or more minions. As a MM, imo, there is no need for the extra energy. Soul reaping is key in any PvE MM build. The typical N/Mo MM uses 16 death, 10 soul, 9 healing. Every death nets you 10 energy. You should have 47 energy max anyways.
But in Prophecies, there is no such thing as MM armor. And the closest alternative is Tormentors. I understand that as a SS necro, the extra energy is needed. I use the energy armor when I go SS or b-spike, but I like the extra armor to keep myself alive and to further support my team. |

if you have the money - i suggest tormentor's to wear normally, scars to wear against blessed griffons & other smiters and blood stained boots if you plan on MMing.
